Jan Atchley Bevan
Literary Artist

Jan Atchley Bevan is a literary artist who writes children’s story picture books and chapter books. She is the Author in Residence at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens in Jacksonville, FL, where she also is a part-time staff member of the Education Department in Art Connections. Jan is a mentor for writers with and without disabilities, and has a Residency with VSA (Very Special Arts) of Florida to train others throughout the state. In addition, Jan is a poet, composer and musician.
