Summer 2009 Financial Aid
Priority Deadline: April 6, 2009 Students must have a complete and accurate file in
order for Florida Community College to determine
eligibility for coverage of tuition, fees and books.
Those who do not meet the published priority deadline
will be required to pay for educational expenses from their
own resources until eligibility is established.
Bookstore Authorizations: April 20, 2009-May 22, 2009
All eligible students may view bookstore authorizations online at Connections (Artemis)
or link to Connections (Artemis) from Florida Community College’s Web
site and
select “Financial Aid.” This is the only time bookstore authorizations (advances against your financial aid that you can use to purchase books) will be available for any session (A, B, C or D) for summer 2009 semester. If you register for classes after this authorization period, you will have to purchase books with your own resources.
Last Day to Use Bookstore Authorization: May 22, 2009
Bookstore authorizations are valid from April 20, 2009 until May 22, 2009 for all summer sessions (A, B, C and D). Financial Aid Drop Deadline: April 23, 2009
Documented financial aid students who have applied for financial aid and have not been awarded or paid from their own resources will have their schedule dropped. A student is considered a documented financial aid student if Florida Community College has received a Student Aid Report from the U.S. Department of Education, and the student completed a Florida Community College Student Aid Authorization Form. Once the schedule is dropped, students must re-enroll and be prepared to pay for tuition and fees from their own resources. Students can view their financial aid status by logging on to Connections (Artemis). First Pay: June 4, 2009
Financial aid disbursements are mailed on June 4, 2009 to all students who completed their financial aid file by April 6, 2009. After June 4, 2009 financial aid disbursements will be processed on a weekly basis as students are awarded.
