Priority Deadline: Aug. 1, 2008 Students must have a complete and accurate file in
order for Florida Community College to determine
eligibility for coverage of tuition, fees and books.
Those who do not meet the published priority deadline
will pay for educational expenses from their
own resources until eligibility is established.
Bookstore Authorizations: Aug. 11-Sept. 15, 2008
All eligible students may view bookstore authorizations online through Connections (Artemis)
or link to Connections (Artemis) from Florida Community College’s Web
site and
select “Financial Aid.” This is the only time book store authorizations (advances against your financial aid that you can use to purchase books) will be available for any session (A, B, C or D) for Fall Term 2008. If you register for classes after this authorization period, you will have to purchase books with your own resources.
Last Day to Use Bookstore Authorization: Sept. 15, 2008
Bookstore authorizations are valid from Aug. 11, 2008 until Sept. 15, 2008 for all fall sessions.
Payment Extension Deadline for Documented Financial Aid Students: Aug. 13, 2008
Documented financial aid students’ class schedules will be held until Aug. 13, 2008. A student is considered a documented financial aid student if FCCJ has received a Student Aid Report from the U.S. Department of Education and the student completed a FCCJ Student Aid Authorization Form. Students can view their financial aid status by logging on to Connections (Artemis).
Financial Aid Drop Deadline: Aug. 14, 2008 Students who have applied for
financial aid and have not been awarded or paid from their own
resources will have their schedule dropped. Once the schedule
is dropped, students must re-enroll and be prepared
to pay for tuition and fees from their own resources.
First Pay: Sept. 25, 2008
Financial aid disbursements are mailed on Sept. 25, 2008 to all students who completed their financial aid file by Aug. 1, 2008. After Sept. 25, 2008, financial aid disbursements will be processed on a weekly basis as students are awarded.
