Academic Advising:

Where can I get help with my math? Have I met the graduation requirements for my program of study? This document is designed to provide the information, skills, and resources necessary to properly advise students on educational goals, programs of study, assessment, and available resources in order for them to succeed.

Assessment

How do I improve my testing taking skills and reduce text anxiety? What is the TABE and how does it relate to adult education and workforce credit programs? What are the placement requirements for associate degree and technical certificate programs? What other assessment programs and opportunities are available to staff and the community? This document is designed to provide the background, knowledge and skills necessary to accurately advise students and other community members who participate in the multitude of assessment programs offered through the College.

Enrollment Services:

How do I apply? When can I register? How can I request my transcripts? How do I pay? Is my son/daughter enrolled in ENC 1101? This document is designed to provide the knowledge and skills on the policies, processes, procedures, and resources necessary for student application, registration, student accounts, and student educational records, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Financial Aid:

How do I apply for financial aid? When do I get my check? What exactly is my SAR? What do you mean I have been selected for verification? What VA benefits am I eligible for? Where can I find out about scholarships? This document is designed to provide the information and resources necessary to assist students through the financial aid process — from application to awarding.
