MEA 0560 Medical Assisting I

Prerequisite: HCP 0780. This course is specifically design to orient individuals to the health care delivery system and medical assisting career. The course provides students with educational skills needed to function as a competent entry level medical assistant. Students will study the following: Medical Terminology, clerical/medical office duties and administrative skills. At the completion of this program, the students would qualify for employment as Medical Office Receptionists.
