Workforce Credit Certificate Courses

FFP 0010 Fire Fighter I

Prerequisites: (TABE) FCCJ entrance exam, a physical examination, fingerprint, drug screening, and sponsorship by a fire department (optional). This course is designed to prepare students for certification at Volunteer Fire Fighter skill level. Initial employment as firefighters in the state of Florida would require completion of Fire Fighter also. Successful completion of both courses will qualify students to take minimum standard written, oral and practical examinations as administered by the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training.
