 Courses College Credit Courses PLA 1104 Legal Research and Writing I — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisites: ENC 1101 and PLA 1003 (or corequisite.) This course provides an understanding of various components of a law library and emphasizes research skills through the use of digests, encyclopedias, reporter systems, codes, Shepards, ALR and other research tools. It also includes basic instruction and practice in legal writing and analysis. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
