NUR 1060C Health Assessment Across the Lifespan — 2 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: admission to the nursing program. Health Assessment Across the Lifespan is a course which gives the student the opportunity to learn and practice history taking and physical examination skills with individuals of all ages. The course provides the student with expanded knowledge and skills to enhance the ability to make accurate nursing diagnoses as well as to identify potential health problems of the client. The course also increases the student's ability to accurately document assessment findings. Three contact hours: one lecture hour, two laboratory hours. A.S.
