 Courses College Credit Courses HSC 2690 Case Management Principles and Practice — 3 Credit Hours An introduction to the practice of case management. Students will review the history of case management, discuss the health care and human services industries and explore the benefits of this specialty practice. A focus on case management models, the roles and functions of case managers, the impact of case management in different settings is provided. Financial concepts in case management are identified, including reimbursement systems and economic issues impacting health care. Three contact hours.
