CGS 1570 Microcomputer Applications — 3 Credit Hours

Recommended prerequisite: OST 1100 or keyboarding experience. This course is intended for students with no previous experience in information systems. It orients students to computer operating systems, DOS and Windows, word processing software, spreadsheet software, database software, and business graphics software to solve common problems of the computerized workplace. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. (CBE) A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
