SPA 1603 American Sign Language II — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: completion of SPA 1602 with a grade of "C" or better. This course is a continuation of American Sign Language I and will emphasize intermediate level sign vocabulary, increasingly complex grammatical constructions, idioms, inflectional usage and the development of intermediate receptive and expressive conversational American Sign Language skills. There will be additional costs required which will vary based on activity or projects such as attendance to the local Deaf club and a trip to the Florida School for the Deaf. Three contact hours. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
