EHD 1409 Interpreting in Special Setting - Educational — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: DHS 1402 and EHD 1407. Students will continue to develop their transliterating skills specifically focusing on developing speed, clarity, completeness, conceptural accuracy and educational vocabulatory likely to be encountered in K-12 public school settings. Activities will be interpreting from taped and live lesson and school related stimuli, as well as videotaping student performance in both expressive and receptive modes. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
