Technical and Workforce Certificate Programs

The technical certificate prepares students for entry-level work through a series of courses within an A.S. or A.A.S. program. Unlike the A.S./A.A.S. programs, which include liberal arts and science courses (like English and Biology), technical certificate programs are comprised mainly of courses related directly to the career you’re training for, with only a few liberal arts courses. A technical certificate can be completed in about half the time of an A.S. degree.

Workforce credit certificate programs are non-college credit programs for career areas that do not require college-level work. Every class is directly related to learning skills for the career you’ve chosen. The programs vary in length, from a few months to two years, and range from automotive repair to culinary operations.
