How do I get started in the automotive programs at Florida Community College? Complete a membership application, then visit a counselor/advisor or the automotive department for more information.
How long will my program take to complete? Both A.S. degree programs — GM-ASEP (223A) and Automotive Service Management Technology (2236) — will take two years while attending class during the day and four years at night.
The Automotive Service Technology program (5609) will take two years to complete during the day and four years at night; Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing (5606) and Heavy Duty Truck and Bus Mechanics (Diesel Technology - 5616) programs will take one year to complete during the day and two years at night.
