Architecture and Construction

Carl Shreve

Carl Shreve has been tinkering with electronics since he was a child growing up in Akron, Ohio. After earning membership into the National Honors Society in High School, Carl received his diploma and then attended the Maplewood Joint Vocational School, where he earned a certificate in their Electrician Apprenticeship Program.

Carl joined the Navy in 1990, became a Gas Turbine System Technician and was later transferred to the USS Aubrey Fitch. He spent five and a half years in the military and was granted an Honorable Discharge as a GSEI First Class Petty Officer.

Carl remained in Jacksonville after being stationed at Mayport with the Navy. He enrolled at Florida Community College in 1998, starting out as a Professional Pilot Technician and achieving his Private Pilot Certification. Shortly after completing that program, Carl switched over to Building Construction Technology and graduated from FCCJ in December 2006.
