Continuing Education — Professional Development and Personal Enrichment

Maybe you’ve obtained the education and skills you set out to achieve and are now working in your field of choice. But you may have realized that to get ahead, you’ll need additional skills or knowledge. Or maybe you just enjoy being in a collegiate atmosphere. Either way, our professional development and recreational learning courses can provide you with new skills and offer the opportunity to have fun while in pursuit of lifelong learning. Professional development courses include computer training, financial planning, payroll and leadership. There are a variety of recreational courses to choose from, including landscaping, tai chi and photography.

Admissions Requirements

To enroll, all new students must submit an application (you can apply online) and pay a $15 membership fee. A high school diploma is not required, but all students must be at least 16 years old. All continuing education courses are non-credit. You can also take credit courses as continuing education classes. For more information on both professional development and recreational learning courses, call FCCJ’s continuing education department at 904.633.8292.

You can also view FCCJ class schedules online or request to have one mailed to you.
