Lets Get to Work — Career Training
Florida Community College offers programs in business, health,
engineering and industry, computer science, public service and
other fields designed to fulfill the career education needs of
the communitys citizens and employers.
With the Associate
in Science (A.S.) and the Associate
in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees, you receive the technical
knowledge and training youll need to begin the job of your choice.
Several of our A.S. programs can transfer into corresponding bachelors
programs at Florida public universities. And the general education
portion of all our AS degrees will transfer to four-year programs
in Florida.
Looking to get there even quicker? College
Credit Certificate programs will provide you with the necessary
skills to begin working right away. Unlike the AS and AAS degree,
these programs are usually finished in a year, and dont include
general education courses.
The admission process for these programs
is similar to that of the Associate in Arts Degree (university
transfer), although some of our Associate in Science, Associate
in Applied Science and College Credit Certificate programs have
additional requirements for admissions. Click on the following
