Strategic Planning Council

Rationale

The College’s Strategic Planning Council exists to provide a venue for College personnel to secure special resources in order to pursue the five college-wide goals. Successful proposals will incorporate innovative ways to advance those goals.

Applicants receive instruction in application development and presentation through Technical Assistance Workshops offered prior to each online submission deadline. The proposal application must be submitted according to the Deadline for Online Application Submission. At the Strategic Planning Council Meeting, each applicant receives 5 minutes to present his or her proposal. Presenters expound on their proposal submissions and respond to Council members’ questions regarding their proposals. Notifications of Funding Decisions are sent via e-mail following each Council meeting. Proposals are reviewed four times per year as follows:
