Announcing new Holiday Baking Class at the FCCJ Nassau Center

The Betty P. Cook Nassau Center is now enrolling students for a new Holiday Baking class. This fun non-credit class is designed for at-home bakers. The class will meet Wednesdays, November 28 and December 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays, December 1 and 8 from 9 a.m.-noon. Chef Bill Castleberry will lead students in hands-on baking experience in each class with kitchen tested recipes. Recipes include Apricot Orange Cranberry Bread, Snowball Cookies, and Southern Comfort Pecan Pie, among others. The class will be in the new, state-of-the-art, culinary classroom and lab at the Lewis “Red” Bean Nassau Technical Career Center at the FCCJ Nassau Center in Yulee. The cost of the class is $149 which includes the cost of supplies. First time FCCJ students will be assessed an additional $15 membership fee.
