“Left of Center” Florida Community College student productions offer one-acts: “Women and Wallace” and “Quentin G” July 21, 22

What: Left of Center presents two student-directed one-act plays: “Women and Wallace” by J.M. Sherman; directed by Dee Riche and “Quentin G” by Florida State University student Joshua Mikel; directed by Thomas Trauger
When: July 21 and July 22 at 8 p.m.
Where: Florida Community College South Campus
Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, Studio Theater

Cost: Admission is by donation

Details: “Left of Center” is a new program that was created to provide arts students the opportunity to explore new works and develop practical experience outside of the classroom. This summer’s offering is two one-act plays directed by students with great student involvement on the stage and backstage as well.

“Women and Wallace” documents events involving women in the life of a young man after his mother’s suicide. “Quentin G” follows the journey of Quentin George as he tries to reconnect with his true love and find a reason for being alive.

Please note that the plays contain mature subject matter and strong language. Attendance by those under age 17 is not recommended.
