Florida Community College DanceWorks Spring Dance Concert April 6, 7
Concert features Douglas Anderson graduate Susan Dodge

Florida Community College at Jacksonville DanceWorks presents its 2006 Spring Dance Concert April 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts at the College’s South Campus, 11901 Beach Blvd.

The DanceWorks concert features Dodge Dance Company Artistic Director Susan Dodge, direct from New York City. Dodge graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and danced with Paul Taylor Dance Company, considered one of the nation’s premier dance companies.

The concert will also showcase a collection of dances by New York and San Francisco choreographers, as well as Florida’s own Afro-Cuban choreographer, Leymis Bolanos. These works will be danced by FCCJ Repertory and Ensemble Dance companies.

Admission for the event is $10 for general admission; $8 for military and seniors citizens; $5 for FCCJ students. Reservations may be made by calling 904.646.2222.
