Florida Community College Women's Volleyball qualifies for regionals

The Florida Community College at Jacksonville Women's Volleyball Team has qualified for the Florida Community College Activities Association Regional Volleyball Championships to be held at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida Nov. 2-4.

The team won the Mid-Florida Conference Title for the 12th year in a row and ended the season with a home match win against Pasco Hernando Community College on Saturday Oct. 29. The team ended the regular season with a 26-9 overall record, a 16-2 Florida Region record and ranked in the Top 25 in the Nation.

Coach Mary Andrew is in her 17th season at the College. In November she was inducted into the Florida Association of Community Colleges "Hall of Fame." She has served for the last sixteen years as the Director of the Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association and in 2004 was inducted into the Florida Region USAV "Hall of Fame."
