Upward Bound students may be eligible for Summer Food Service Program
Enrolled students 18 and under may qualify for free/low-cost meals May 23-June 10

Students enrolled at the Upward Bound Program at Florida Community College during the summer may be eligible for free or low-cost breakfast and lunch if they qualify during the school year.

Nutritionally balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. All children 18 years old and younger, if open site, are eligible for meals at no charge and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. The programs are only approved for geographical areas of need where 50 percent or more of the children qualify for free and reduced price meals during the school year.

Meals will be served at Chartwells at the University of North Florida, 4567 St. Johns Bluff Road South and at Chartwells on the South Campus of Florida Community College at Jacksonville, 11901 Beach Blvd. Only approved students enrolled in the Upward Bound Program at Florida Community College at Jacksonville will be served.
