
John Hirabayashi to serve on Florida Community College Foundation Board
The Board of Governors of the Florida Community College at
Jacksonville Foundation elected John Hirabayashi to serve on the Board at their
March 10 meeting. He was elected to serve a three-year term.
Hirabayashi is currently the president and
CEO of Community First Credit Union of Florida (previously known
as Educational Community Credit Union).
He graduated from the University of
Colorado (Boulder) with a bachelor’s degree in Finance;
and he has an M.B.A. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).
In addition, Hirabayashi also serves in the following organizations:
the Clay Education Foundation (president), the Florida Community
College North Campus Advisory Council, the Alliance for World
Class Education, the Clay Economic Development Advisory Council,
the Jacksonville Chamber Board of Governors, the Florida Credit
Union Shared Services Board, the Florida Credit Union League
Board and the Jacksonville Chamber Diversity Task Force.
