Healing Touch: energy-based therapy training offered for nurses and other healthcare workers
at Florida Community College September 30
Florida Community College at Jacksonville is offering an introductory course in Healing Touch,
an energy-based therapeutic approach to healing, on Friday, September 30, from 8 a.m.-noon at the College's Deerwood Center,
Room B-1204.
Healing Touch is a holistic approach that helps to enhance the bodys ability to balance its energy
and restore a sense of ease and well-being. Techniques are useful for nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors,
psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals. However, one does not have to be a healthcare practitioner to benefit
from this course.
This Level-I course is an introduction to a five-level program. The four-hour course is approved for
four contact hours for nurses through the Florida State Board of Nursing. Those seeking credits should have their license
or license number with them.
Jeanne Zuzel, R.N., M.A., CHTP/I, is the instructor. Zuzel has a private healing practice in
Norwich, CT. She attended Newton Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing, as well as Trinity College and University.
She is an internationally certified Healing Touch Practitioner. She works as a Holistic Nurse Consultant and guest
speaker for local hospitals, public service agencies, companies and school systems.
