
Top-ranking technology college, FCCJ, will offer a wide range of computer courses this summer at the FCCJ Deerwood Center, located at 9911 Old Baymeadows Rd.
Web Page Design Made Easy is a basic level course that teaches students how to build and manage a personal Web site using Microsoft FrontPage. Class meets on Mondays, May 10 – 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuition is $65.
Digital Photo Fun will meet on Tuesdays, May 18 – June 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. Students will learn how to operate the digital camera, scan photos, alter pictures and format files for the Web or printing. Tuition is $49.
Dreamweaver Web Design teaches the aspiring professional Web designer how to create custom Web sites using the software, Dreamweaver MX. Class meets Wednesdays, May 19 – June 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $149.
Basic Computers for Seniors meets from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, May 19 – June 9. Students learn basic mouse and keyboard operations, document set up, Web and e-mail functions. Tuition is $55.
PhotoShop Introduction provides an overview of digital imaging. Students learn to design and manipulate photos for Web and print publishing. Class meets on Mondays, June 7 – 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuition is $140.
QuarkXpress for Desktop Publishing introduces students to desktop design tools and concepts for brochure, newsletter, ad and magazine layout. Class meets Thursdays, June 3 – 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $135.
Online Auctions will help students set up and manage lucrative auction accounts on eBay and other online markets. Class meets on Tuesdays, June 15 – 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $49.
