
Aiken is a professor of Nursing and director
of the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at the University
of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was ranked as number 10
on Modern Healthcare Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Powerful
People in Healthcare. She is also a 2003 Codman Award winner as
recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations, and is considered the “single most influential nurse
leader and researcher in the field of nursing outcomes research.”
Regarding Continuing Education credits: The program is approved for 6.0 contact hours for nurses through the Florida State Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-704).
