
On Oct. 5, Candace Moody,
vice president for marketing and communication for WorkSource,
will present “Employment
Trends for the First Coast” at 12:30-1:30 p.m. Room A-1018
(inside the CDC, Room A-1020). Moody will provide information on
trends in the Florida economy; Florida industry employment forecast
highlights; fastest-growing industries; and fastest growing occupations.
On Nov. 9, author Robert Johnson will
present “Jobs for
the Twenty-first Century” from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., also
in Room A-1018. Johnson, author of “How to Find a Job in
Jacksonville,” will provide information regarding job search
strategies, company research, networking and trends in the local
economy and how this impacts jobs on the First Coast.
