
Starting in January, FCCJ Continuing
Education is offering a variety of courses aimed at improving
both physical fitness and mental well-being.
is
an eight-week course designed to reduce stress and enhance
strength and flexibility. Two
classes are schedule on Tuesdays, Jan. 20 – March 9. The
daytime class runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the evening
class meets 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the FCCJ Deerwood Center, 9911
Old Baymeadows Rd. Cost for the class is $45.
is
a high-energy exercise class that uses traditional belly
dancing movements to help women slim down and shape up. Space is limited
in this popular class, which meets on Mondays, Jan. 26 – March
29 at the FCCJ South Campus, 11901 Beach Blvd. from 7 to 8
p.m. Cost is $45.
is designed to help students uncover
their natural talents and move toward greater professional and
personal satisfaction. Class meets at FCCJ Deerwood Center on
Thursdays, Feb. 5 – 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuition is $40.
Registration is currently underway. Students
may register online at www.fccj.edu,
at any FCCJ Enrollment Service Office or by telephone. First-time
students must complete an application and pay a one-time $15
membership fee.
