Nassau Institute for Community Education Spring 2004 classes and registration

The Nassau Institute for Community Education (NICE) is offering ten classes for its six-week term at Florida Community College’s Betty P. Cook Nassau Center in Yulee. Five of the classes are new this year; the rest are popular classes from previous terms. NICE classes begin Feb. 3, 2004.

The new classes being introduced include “Watercolor Fun;” “From Athens to London to Broadway,” - a study of literary works; “Beginning Italian, Part 2;” and “Welcome to the Computer, Part 3.” These classes meet during the day and are being taught at the Betty P. Cook Nassau Center.

“Inside Chamber Music” is also a new class. It is an evening class. Sessions will meet at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

The returning day classes on the schedule include “The Camera, Your Friend: Learning More Photography;” “Advanced Sculpture;” “Digital Photography;” and “Welcome to the Computer, Part 2.” These classes will meet at the Nassau Center.

“Let’s Write: The Joy of Creative Writing” will be held at St. Peter’s during two consecutive Saturdays in February.
