Jaguars extend Florida State College discount ticket sales to game against KC Chiefs
Florida State College at Jacksonville and community support zooms past 300; more seats up for grabs at $30-$40!

Demand for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida State College at Jacksonville special offer of $30 and $40 tickets for the Nov. 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs has surpassed the original 300 available seats. Because of the great demand, Florida State College has arranged to provide up to 500 ticketholders with the transportation, tailgate party and t-shirt deals.

The Jaguars have stepped up and will continue the special-price seating for tickets beyond 500, sold in advance through this offer, until 2 p.m. on Nov. 7. After that, ticket prices for the designated block of seats will be $55 and $65. Only the first 500 who take advantage of this deal can be guaranteed the free parking and transportation to the game (leaving from the Florida State College Administration Building/Martin Center parking lot at 501 W. State St. from 10 a.m. until noon), a tailgate party in Lot V with food and beverages, a teal and black Florida State College/Jaguars t-shirt, and prizes of Club Seat upgrades and merchandise.

This special ticket pricing is available to the public. Affiliation with Florida State College is not required to take advantage of this offer.

An added bonus: Nov. 8 is Military Appreciation Day, and there is the promise of an outstanding fly-over in honor of our service-men and -women around the globe.

Media Note: Florida State College Day at the Jaguars is happening with the support of not only the Jaguars and the College. Many businesses have joined in to make this event possible. Just a few examples: Biscotti’s, Chef’s Garden and Chartwells have donated food and desserts. Southeastern Paper donated the paper products for the tailgate party. The Dalton Agency and McDonalds donated beverages. PRI and Dana’s Limos provided services at a discount.

• “Jaguar Rally Day” Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at Kent Campus (3939 Roosevelt Blvd.) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with visits from the Roar, Jaxson deVille and a strong show of the College’s support of the Jaguars! This will be a great visual follow-up to Touchdown Jacksonville’s revival to boost support for the team.
• Busloads of up to 500 black-and-teal-garbed Florida State College students, employees and friends en route to the stadium Nov. 8.
• A bus-ride preview of a special short video that will play on the Jumbo-Tron during the third quarter.
• A Florida State College tailgate party with food cooked by College Coaches and Culinary in Lot V, adjacent to the Sports Complex garage and Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Desserts have been donated by Biscotti’s and Chef’s Garden.
