Top Central Florida CFP educators partner with FCCJ Institute for Financial Studies to offer Certified Financial Planner™ certification education program in Orlando area

A collaborative effort between the FCCJ Institute for Financial Studies and three experienced and highly qualified Central Florida CFP® instructors will result in the offering of affordable, quality instruction in the Certified Financial Planner™ Certification Education Program in the Orlando area, beginning in May 2008. Individual courses are projected to cost $750, including the cost of books. Students of the program may be prepared to sit for the CFP® Certification Exam as early as July 2009.

Peter Blackwell, MBA, CFP®, CEP and 10-year faculty member at University of Central Florida, and colleagues Rey Belyeu, MBA, CFP® and Susan D. V. Branche, EA, CFP® have worked together for eight years as instructors in the program. They are nationally published authors of financial planning textbooks.

Their partnership with FCCJ Institute for Financial Studies brings an established and proven program format and content that produces CFP® certification pass rates much higher than the national average. Student advising is available six days and evenings a week, class schedules are student-friendly and online course exams accommodate busy schedules. Additional online course materials created by the instructors assist student learning and retention.
