Mission Statement

The Florida Community College Foundation’s primary mission is to creatively and enthusiastically generate and manage private support for student scholarships and projects that support the College’s mission.

To this end, the Foundation’s efforts are currently focused on four primary objectives:

• Raise funds for sufficient scholarship support to make sure no First Coast resident is denied a Florida Community College education for financial reasons.
• Recognize and reward faculty members for exceptional teaching through the establishment of additional endowed teaching chairs.
• Provide exceptional cultural and performing arts programs to students and the First Coast area through increased endowment support.
• Assure the experience of intercollegiate athletics for future generations of students attending Florida Community College through the establishment of an athletic endowment.
