Adjunct Faculty Bio

Lora Lewis
Adjunct Faculty, Retail Merchandising, Kent Campus

Lora Lewis is originally from Washington, D.C., and she has an extensive and varied business background, predominately in retail merchandising. Lora received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and her M.B.A. from the University of North Florida. She has worked on both coasts of the U.S. and in The Netherlands and London. She first taught at Florida Community College in 1990, and she is delighted to be settled in Jacksonville. She especially loves teaching Florida Community College students about global business and the retail industry. Her favorite aspect of teaching is being able to make a difference in students’ lives. It is especially gratifying to see students gain subject mastery and self-confidence during a term. She appreciates the opportunities available at the College for challenging, rewarding work and professional development.
