Lunch and Learn

Participants will learn skills necessary to promote a healthy work-life balance and increase productivity through improved communications, interaction and time management.

All sessions will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sessions will be conducted by FCCJ instructors and include a participant and session evaluation. Participants may eat their lunch during the sessions. This is an excellent low-cost method to introduce FCCJ Corporate Training to your organization!

  • Managing Time: “Go With the Flow”
  • Change Management: “Riding Winds of Change”
  • Communications: “Bulls Eye Listening”
  • Managing Stress: “Swimming Up Stream”
  • Assertiveness: “Equality and Me”
  • Conflict Resolution: “Meeting in the Middle”
  • Teamwork: “Row, Row, Row the Boat”
  • Team Building with Social Styles Assessment:
    Participants fill out a questionnaire at the beginning of the session. The results are used during the brief session and each individual has an assessment or index of their social style. They will also:
    • Learn individual communication styles.
    • Learn how communication styles affect the success of the team.
    • Develop specific strategies to learn to communicate more effectively with each other and as a team.
  • Dealing with Workplace Problems and Difficult People:
    Participants will:
    • Gain a better understanding of effective coaching, employee problem-solving processes and conflict resolution.
    • Learn how to help problem employees improve their work habits and become more productive team members.
  • Motivation in the Workplace:
    Participants will:
    • Learn about the impact of their leadership style on their employees.
    • Analyze the relationship between attitude and behavior and how it affects motivation.
