Coach’s Evaluation

Jessica played some right side as a freshman and did a good job as an attacker and back up setter. This season she is the starting setter and has done a great job running the team and delivering the ball. She is extremely athletic and as a left hander, has a lot to offer as a setter at a higher level. She serves very well and has really improved her defense. She is a solid blocker and already has 38 blocks halfway through the season.

Jessica is captain of the team this year and she has done a very good job on establishing a team culture and keeping communication channels open. Conflicts are handled quickly yet carefully. Jessica cares about her teammates and her team. She is very competitive and driven to succeed. She is pleasant person to be with and she will be an asset to the next program for whom she chooses to play.
