Coach’s Corner 2006 | Season Recaps

2007-08

The 2007-08 season will be remembered as the “Tale of Two Seasons.” Early during the season the Stars ranked as high as 11th in the nation. The team went undefeated prior to the holiday break. Depth of the team as well as focus played a major factor for the remainder of the season. The team finished with a record of 15-14.

Congratulations to Alice Walton from Southampton, England. She was named to the Mid-Florida All-Conference Academic Team. Throughout the season, Alice maintained a 3.6 grade point average.

2005-06

During the 2005-06 season the Stars were crowned as the Mid-Florida Conference Champion which clinched a berth to the FCCAA NJCAA State/Regional tournament. The Stars were beaten in the semi-finals of the state finishing with a record of 21-8 overall and 10-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference. The Stars were ranked as high as 14th in the nation and third in the state of Florida. The stars closed out the season ranked 24th in the nation in the NJCAA poll for women’s basketball.
