All rentals are available for one-half day use. Any use of the rented area beyond the half-day will constitute a full day rental. Renters will be charged additional rental if additional time is used. Additional costs could be incurred. Each renter is responsible for clean-up and disposal of all goods brought on to the property. Additional cleaning or damage fees may be charged.
A 7% Florida Sales Tax will be computed on all costs unless written proof of being tax exempt is provided in advance of use. Tiered discounts for civic and not for profit organizations providing written proof of exemption prior to contract approval. For more information on tax exemption call 904.646.2349.
Each renter must supply proof of liability insurance (“ACORD” certificate) for a minimum amount of $1,000,000,00 specifying Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Florida and its District Board of Trustees are “Additional Insured”. Certificates must specify date(s) of use and coverage.
Rental rates for any area do not include the following: Stage labor, lighting, other than work lights for rehearsal or set-up, the set house lighting plot for performances in the Main Theater and up to 40 instruments set in the Studio Theater, sound, props, equipment rental, spotlights and chair and riser placement (except as noted), orchestra shell set-up, traffic control, or any other function necessary for audience control. It also does not include any personnel for creative advisement, box office, house management, concessions, clean-up or disposal of all goods.

(not available for outside use from September-May)Rental for the theaters will not begin prior to 8:00 A.M. without additional charges. The day will conclude and doors will be locked no later than 11:00 P.M. Renters will be charged additional rental and any limitations if additional time is used. Each renter must follow all safety guidelines set forth by the college and will practice safety in all functions at the college.
The rooms are available for many purposes and can be configured for your particular function. The room rates include basic set-up for chairs and tables only. The two spaces can be combined.
