The purpose of the Career Development Center is to assist FCCJ students and alumni at all phases of the career planning process with their career planning needs. In doing so, we also assist area employers with their recruitment needs by providing access to FCCJ students and graduates.

We achieve our purpose through a variety of programs and CDC services that are in line with what's current in career services delivery. All of our services directly relate to our purpose and our goal of helping FCCJ students and alumni make informed and successful transitions from FCCJ to the workforce or to further academic study.

Our purpose directly supports the FCCJ mission and is in accordance with FCCJ College goals #1 and #4.
Goal # 1 - Prepare students for distinctive success and as oustanding citizens in the global Information Age.
Goal # 4 - Contribute significantly to the ongoing economic development of the College's service area.

The Career Development Center provides services for: Students, Employers, Faculty, Alumni and Community Members.
