Career Development Center Electronic Portfolios More Information Much more powerful than a traditional résumé alone, an electronic portfolio utilizes multimedia to present text, video-clips, graphics, etc., thereby enabling users to show and tell what they have accomplished and learned. For example, an electronic portfolio can include: work samples; certificates; photos; presentations; videotaped recommendations, etc., -- all in a multimedia platform! In the CDC, one of our primary goals is to help students transition successfully from Florida Community College to the workforce; producing electronic portfolios will assist us as we pursue this goal by giving our students a "competitive edge" as they seek employment and internship opportunities.
