About Us More Information

The purpose of the Career Development Center is to assist Florida State College at Jacksonville students and alumni at all phases of the career planning process with their career planning needs. In doing so, we also assist area employers with their recruitment needs by providing access to Florida State College at Jacksonville students and graduates.

We achieve our purpose through a variety of programs and CDC services that are in line with what's current in career services delivery. All of our services directly relate to our purpose and our goal of helping Florida State College at Jacksonville students and alumni make informed decisions as they successfully transition from Florida State College at Jacksonville to the workforce or to further academic study.

Our purpose directly supports the Florida State College at Jacksonville mission and is in accordance with Florida State College at Jacksonville College goals #1 and #4.
Goal # 1 - Prepare students for distinctive success in the global Information Age.
Goal # 4 - Contribute significantly to the ongoing economic development of the College's area.

The Career Development Center provides services for: Students, Employers, Faculty, Alumni and Community Members.
