A massage therapist applies
manual techniques with the intention of positively affecting the health and well
being of an individual.
- Massage
therapy can be a full or part time career. The job market is good, as there are
a variety of settings where it is found, as well as a private practice possibility.
- Hourly
or annual earning for the Certificate
- Massage
therapy is, for the most part, a cash-based business. Generally, a full hour massage
costs approximately $60. One significant advantage is the ability to develop your
own business as an entrepreneur.
Massage therapists practice in a variety
of settings including, exercise gyms, spas, chiropractic offices, rehabilitation
centers. Many massage therapists will go directly to the clients home to
administer treatment.
