Tracy A. Pierce
Associate Vice President
Enrollment Development and Student Success

Biography

Tracy Pierce is the associate vice president of enrollment development and student success. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in public relations and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida.

Tracy came to Florida Community College in 1991 from Pinellas County, where he had served the school district as the media relations coordinator. At FCCJ, he has previously held the positions of project coordinator, senior public relations coordinator and associate vice president of marketing and communications.

Marketing and Communications Department

The marketing and communications department designs and directs market research to identify program and service opportunities and determines the appropriate marketing and communication strategies for the College. This department develops and guides quality standards for communication materials throughout the College (print and Web); orchestrates effective communication and advertising strategies; develops direct mail campaigns and other approaches to promote the College and its programs.

The marketing and communications department is also responsible for the student enrollment process at the College. Within this area, prospective students are identified and the development of effective communication tools along with the coordinatation of enrollment service systems for current, new, and prospective students is accomplished.

The design and implementation of student recruitment and community outreach programs is also a function of this department.
