Resource Development

Staff members of the Resource Development Department assist the College community in obtaining discretionary as well as entitlement grants for programs that further the institution’s goals.

The department:

• Identifies appropriate funding sources
• Secures external funds that help ensure that the College mission is met
• Fosters relationships with other departments in the College
• Facilitates a better understanding of the grant application process
• Supports faculty, students and administrators through the funding process
• Follows a system that efficiently and effectively guides the grant application and post-award management process

Resource Development is responsible for:

• Grant applications to external funding sources
• Internal applications for Strategic Initiatives
• Applications for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval for research to be conducted at the college

The department is located in Suite 264 of the Martin Center for College Services, at the intersection of State and Broad Streets in downtown Jacksonville.
