Small
Business 101
Florida Community College at Jacksonville has developed a concentrated, interactive workshop that will take you through all the critical elements of running a successful small business. The difference this program provides is evident in the design of the course. First, participants will complete an online assessment aimed at increased self-understanding of themselves as a key component to the success of their business. Second, the course focuses on participants’ business plans – not a generic example plan. Third, Small Business 101 is taught by a small business owner and learning is focused on real world strategies for success! Finally, this course typically includes guest speakers who are experts in areas such as legal issues and accounting practices. Upon finishing the program, you will have your own completed business plan.
