Continuing Education
A large part of workforce development is continuing education. According to the State of Florida (Florida Statute 1004.02) continuing education is defined as “instruction that does not result in a technical certificate, diploma, associate in applied science degree, or associate in science degree”
Kent Campus continuing education courses are ideal for:
- Individuals who are required to have training for license or certification renewal by a regulatory or credentialing body,
- New or expanding businesses,
- Business, industry and government agencies whose products or services are changing so that employee retraining or specific skill training is necessary to increase efficiency and productivity, or
- Individuals who wish to enhance their occupational skills so as to maintain current employment, to cross train or to upgrade employment.
