Mission

To serve, protect and preserve the tranquility of the student body, staff, faculty, and guests of Florida Community College at Kent Campus.

Goals

To continually monitor and update terrorist activity, campus violence and crimes against persons or property.

To maintain close working relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

To continually train and update security officers in security procedures.

Emergency call stations are located in every classroom and in the parking lots.

Crime prevention literature covering many subjects is available in the security office.

All security officers are trained in first aid and in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
