Requirements for CRLA Regular Tutor Certification Level III

_____1. Review of Level I and II topics using discussion, role-play, and films. Group workshop for all tutors              using interactive discussion and films. (4 hours) (REQUIRED) (verification required)

_____2. Supervisor Workshop workshop with two or more tutors to interactively discuss designated Training              Manual tutor topics. (2 hours) (REQUIRED) (verification required)

_____3. Review of Level I and Level II topics (workshop, film) (4 hours)

_____4. Assertiveness training

_____5. How to administer and interpret a learning style inventory

_____6. Structuring the learning experience

_____7. Training and supervising other tutors (supervisory skills)

_____8. Group management skills (group interaction and group dynamics)

_____9. Other (designing learning events for students)

_____TOTAL TRAINING HOURS (10 total minimum hours beyond Level II and 4 minimum Level III topics required in addition to topics covered in general workshop)

Required Tutoring Experience

_____25 documented hours of actual tutoring experience beyond Level II (75 cumulative hours between          Level I, II, and II). (Hours worked sheets attached.)
