is a national college entrance examination program. Florida Community
College is an assessment site for ACT. ACT scores 17 or higher may
be submitted for use in placement by students entering Florida Community
College’s college credit programs. Scores must be less than
two years old. ACT scores of 21 or higher, regardless of age, may
be used to exempt the CLAST.
How do I get my ACT scores evaluated
by Florida Community College?
You may have requested that your ACT scores be submitted to Florida
Community College when you took the assessment at your high
school or other site. These scores are sent by ACT to Florida Community

preferred campus to see if your scores have been received and
posted for use in placement.
You may have an original copy of your ACT score report in your personal
records. You may bring your scores to any campus
assessment and certification center for evaluation if they are
less than two years old. Finally, you may request that your scores
be sent to Florida Community College from ACT by contacting ACT
