High School Seniors Interested in Career Skills Can Attend FCCJ for Free
The Twenty-First Century Academy is offering free computer and manufacturing classes to high school students between the ages of 16-21, free transportation and free food.

Are you a high school senior? Will you receive a diploma, certificate of completion, or a G.E.D. at the end of the school year? Would you like to attend college now — for free? Then apply today.
The Twenty-First Century Academy at Florida Community College is a special program designed for students like you. Qualifying students would attend college courses at no charge. In addition, we provide free transportation to and from classes.
Who Qualifies?
- Current high school seniors with a 2.0 GPA
- Students interested in attending college, vocational programs or obtaining immediate employment skills
- Students interested in workforce careers (see courses below)
- Students who meet the academy income criteria
- Students who take the TABE at FCCJ
- Participants in the Graduation Initiative Program
What Courses are offered in the Twenty-First Century Academy?
- Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Systems (HVAC)
- Automotive
- Biotechnology
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Manufacturing
- Web Design
When and where are the courses offered?
Classes are held at the FCCJ Downtown Campus, Mondays through Fridays. Most classes will be held from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Contact the program manager for specific times.
